I think he's right that criticism shouldn't be silenced because it might hurt someone's feelings, but what he's citing in that video about the depression being caused from worrying what others think make what he said about giving criticism seem pretty contradictory.

I felt bad for the guy for having to deal with those assholes, but then I looked at the first listed comment where he started off bitching about what the comments are going to be, and batantly putting his fart fetish out there. It's like he has no concept of hiding his power level. And then I thought more about the situation and how autistic you have to be to stand up and basically say "you guys suck, why are doing this". Yeah, they probably sucked. But calling them out for it is not a socially acceptable thing to do. Especially in front of a crowd.
I see his main issues is that he has no filter, no sense of how normal human beings interact with each other, and feels the need to criticize others to make himself feel better about how much he criticizes himself.
