Yah they do, I've seen them on multiple occasions and am pretty sure they were being serious and unironic. They made points like "the world building is obviously just to sell toys" and that this is made obvious with the mmc, and the castle, among other things. I can't tell if the show is better or worse without her, (I assume that it is only slightly lesser without her, but the remaining staff is doing an excellent job at picking up where she left off), but people who start saying "canon things aren't canon, or shouldn't be canon in my eyes because it wasn't actually supposed to happen under faust..." is some fuckery.

I take this show seriously, not "so seriously". I definitely like to analyze the episodes and make note of things like characterization and plot development among other things. I would say that I don't go overboard with it though, although I feel like being a male fan of this show is "overboard" as it is, and that its just how much are we drowning compared to others.

I've had that feeling about my code before. I reflect on what I did right and try to reproduce that.
Then sometimes when you see others' code and without documentation you can tell exactly what's going on and after only digging a little you get a general idea of the logic of the whole general system? That's fucking beauty. Especially when you can see it's based on just a really simple programming pattern.
