As memey as Undertale is nowadays, unlike FNAF it actually has a lot behind it, in terms of story, gameplay, it's an all around good game, especially it you, acquire it without monetary loss on your part. Plus, it doesn't use many outside memes, instead it created a bunch, similar to Portal. I'd highly recommend playing it, just don't let any of your internet friends know you got it, lest they think you're a normie memester.
