However that doesn't mean that I support their push to get married or have pride parades. A gay couple can't produce offspring. The state won't benefit from them so why should they benefit from it?
Pride parades aren't supported by many people, so even when they are paid for by companies rather than the state they are still sponsored by people who disagree. It's being forced by a small group upon the majority. That's the basic definition of an oligarchy. A few enforcing their rule on the unwilling many for their own advancement. This isn't democratic. And why must only LGBT have pride parades? What makes them better than heterosexual people or asexual people or even people who prefer inanimate objects for sexual partners? Why is there no outcry from the LGBT community for the favouritism they benefit from and the discrimination against any and all other sexual preferences?
