I don't think anyone here remembers Internment Camps in California.

Those were not fun. Think of it like 1940's FEMA camps were you'd get sent for looking Japanese, knowing a Japanese person, or being in relation to a Japanese person. This was a nation wide initiative as well, although back in the 40's there weren't many Japanese/Asians beyond the West Coast.

Sure, there wasn't "Death Squads" and "Mass Gassings" but you did have an extremely broken system that worked only on nationality, that really wasn't met with upkeep. A 1940's county prison cell had more care to it, than the Interment Camps, which house several thousand Japanese Americans, and the people involved with them.

You just don't hear about it, because when America does it, it's for good reasons! Its not like we actually executed Japanese Americans within these camps right? (Although America did for awhile before learning about the 'Genocide' of Untermensch, which quickly led to a deportation/reassigning of interim Japs.)

Like I said, not talked about much these days, Japs may not even know about it, if they do, then they took it like champs.

but I will say this.

Interim/POW/refugee/FEMA camps are not exclusive to a single nation, nor a single political belief. Neither is hatred, bigotry, ignorance, and evil. If you find yourself in one of these camps in the future, my advice would be to try to find a way out, as soon as godly possible.
