Hi, I'm still having problems.
Apparently You can only boot into safe mode in Windows 8 if you already have the ability to boot into normal mode (I wish I was joking about this) but the only reason anyone would boot into safe mode is if they couldn't boot into normal mode that's the whole point of it...I was able to save my files so not all is lost.
I need to find my windows 8 disk to see if that will repair it (it wont). After that fails I'll have to reinstall everything Which will take a while.
