Well, I only dropped about two new pieces to this story today. I'm really not proud of it, and I don't like the idea of being one of 'those' kind of writefags who just drop a tiny sentence of dialogue and expect a legion of bumps.

I'm not vetoing it, but I think it would be a good scene for Anon to realize that the pregnancy play they were doing before isn't just play anymore. He could at least ask her if she's sure she wants to risk it given how their lives have been and are likely to continue to be if they want to keep trying to fix the world. They've both been built up as very clearly wanting a family, after all, so desire isn't an issue.

And if we want to wait for protection, we could always see if Patience knows any magical or herbal methods.
