It was decent, I liked how they explored more of Starswirl and Celestia's relationship and the alternate Sombra x Celestia relationship really exposed her romantic side. It also showed Celestia has flaws as well and gave her more dimension.

It wasn't TERRIBLE, but it was pretty bland. they spent the ENTIRE arc focusing on Mirror sombra, who's more or less an OC and nobody gives a shit about.
And sadly, despite being an arc focused on celestia, it makes her come off TERRIBLY, being an incompetent horny idiot who put 2 entire realities at risk because she wanted the black dick.
The big problem is: Its a fucking Mirror universe plot! HOW THE FUCK DO YOU MAKE THAT BORING?!
like, seriously, goddamnit, seriously, its pretty much 100% potential and you STILL manage to fuck it.
When you do a mirror universe, people want a focus on the mirror characters encountering each other and what makes them different, and their conflicting personalities and world views.

That was definitely the worst part, everyone expecting that and then not getting it at all. Then all the HILARIOUS meta jokes Katie Cook kept making about them never making an appearance.
It's just so misleading to have them in the foreground of the cover implying they'll be involved, and then do nothing with them.

Wasted opportunity.
Expected something we see out of the current arc, Good mane 6 vs evil mane 6.
Instead focused on the gary stu sombra and evil celestia, and the mane 6 are basically useless, they stick around, listen to his story, and then buy just enough time for him to fix it by himself.
But as far as the rest go, its still not the worst, not after the Deer arc and especially the Bull Arc.

I'm talking about years ago, so it's very relevant.
Basically, to be completely unbiased; before S4, some people thought the comics wouldn't add Twilicorn since their answers when asked were in a grey area, I expected it, since we're talking about Hasbro here. Then, when they actually announced it people got mad at them for being blatant snake-oil salesmen about it, so the comic staff went to twitter and bitched about them and their families being cyber-bullied (without giving any proof whatsoever, of course, even when asked for it). So one of this board's cancer cells, Atticon, took a moment to stop feeding barbed wire into his uthera and basically spat on all the work this board did when it made the Thank You Card for Faust in the aftermath of EQG, and spammed a blatant ripoff attempt here, with the addition of annoying Anons to sing the comic's song that parodied the one supporting pedophilia, whilst constantly insinuating that anyone who wasn't on board with the idea sent death threats to the IDW crew (http://desuarchive.org/mlp/thread/14085195/). I basically slid it to page 10 to 404 it.
And then the 'victims' in all this go on to do things like the last panel of reflection tsicking the finger to people who expected mirror-counterparts to make an appearence, as though they were on the front-cover of the comic.
