Every one of his attacks will look like they have DKs, then cut back to the normal enemy death animation, until his finisher that he unlocks midway through the game. Which will itself only minorly change in the DK, because if you want a satisfying DK from the thing you'll have to wait for Rex.

This is the OG team, that's how they do things.

Even Sunrise didn't have enough faith in that concept.

That said, I love Atleast Gravion had an episode where everyone piloted in their swimsuits, and the eureka 7 manga had Dominic pilot shirtless, but it's extremely rare so they give them fanservice in other ways.

Titan's there because I need to test L size units actually made to tank. Webdiver's mostly there for the nine units it adds as well as a solid test of combination attacks as well as an S size dodgy unit or four, Chouja's there for SS size units, and then the first two series were Gundam 00S1 - there for actual fucking plot - and Dancouga Nova, there for a couple of things including a second battleship.

Speaking of which, it's still fairly early in the thread, may as well do this now.

STEP 1: Pick any one series. That series must provide the plot for five stages. You may use part of the plot of the series, the whole plot, or whatever, but no matter your choice, you have to have five stages, and there has to be resolution at the end.

STEP 2: Pick four other series. These should likely fit thematically with the first series, but all of the units should be different - don't choose a bunch of series without a battleship, try to get some dodgier robots and tankier robots in there, etc. You'll probably want to have between fifteen and thirty units altogether (fifteen if you intend there not to be a squad system, thirty if you intend there to be one) so remember that. These series either have no plot, or have very little plot that are molded into the first one, a la the Classics focusing mainly on the Divine Crusaders.

STEP 3: Post results.

First series is Gundam 00, specifically the late parts of S1 - everything after Exia goes Trans Am the first time - with a few changes (being in a better position, Celestial Being takes out Ribbons and Ali before they vanish, without Ribbons most of the shit from 00S2 won't happen).

Other four are Dancouga Nova (post-plot, just got back from killing Moon Will), Sym Bionic Titan (probably getting tied with Nova past-wise, The Hammer might show up as an enemy on the Fed side), Webdiver (WARPED IN FROM OTHER UNIVERSE excuse because I have no fucking idea), and Chouja Reideen ("we were always going on in the background it's just that most of the time it all got blamed on terrorists or whatever")

Also Rising Meteor doesn't even break 7000 power at ten bars without the FUB, Invincible for 15 rather than the usual 10, its movement speed is poor and it's groundbound in a game with lots of city maps.

See, I'm totally fine with having 7. 6 is a fine starting point, the problem is when a unit only has fucking 5 (or worse, when it has 3 or 4, but fortunately that hasn't been a thing in YEARS).

And Raioh can deal with having slightly less movement because it has a 2-5 P move for a reasonable cost.

FE7if is impressive in the department of custom animations and music.

The actual gameplay is among the worst of any fully completed non-joke Fire Emblem hack, wholly dependent on RNG and savestate abuse due to retarded stat inflation and unit spam bolstering its "difficulty".

Seriously, past the stage where you recruit Limstella the hacker obviously just gave up on even attempting to go for quality because chapter 27 is the most ridiculous bullshit difficulty-wise in the game due to him flooding the stage with so many many overpowered enemies at once that the unit remaining counter will sometimes start to display garbage text because it's gone over the limit. Once you get past that RNGmania shitshow the rest of the game's difficulty falls off a cliff as the retardedly overpowered custom characters and self inserts get their special weapons and proceed to rape everything on screen.

Then the final chapter hits with a shitty fog of war gimmick and more required savestate abuse in the first half and a Kaizo Mario RNG savestate fuckfuckest in the second, especially when you're fighting the dragon that he decided to make dodgier than even the strongest of A Portable newtype grunts.

FE7if is not a good FE hack.

Some hackers seem to believe that if you can make something save-state reliant, that this is good difficulty, and don't actually think "hey, how can I make this hack actually difficult?"

Even past the hundreds of Kaizo clones, a metric fuckload of Pokémon hacks run headlong into that issue, they'll abuse Double Team and being ten levels higher than what they should to make you turbo-grind and save state abuse instead of actually trying to include difficult bosses.

The last promise is decent although the gameplay still isn't all too great. The difficulty falls somewhere between FE7 and FE8. It's good that you don't care about plot because the dialogue is the cringiest self insert shit imaginable. Turn off your sound as well because half of the imported songs sound like garbage and the hacker shoved a bunch of disgustingly low quality real voice samples into the game that play towards the end.

Fire Emblem Midnight Sun is an FE8 hack and superior in every way with interesting gameplay, better artwork, less ear rapey (but still generic midi instrument) music imports. Unfortunately it's still unfinished and only has a handful of chapters.

Elibean Knights is the best completed hack and is probably better than any official FE Nintendo has diarrhead out in a while.

I don't think they've found anyway to get proper instrument samples in FE as yet which why we use Midis in FE hacking.

I'd also recommend Requiem for 7 since it has a niche gameplay and full supports. The first arc is rather easy since you get bootleg Pent and Haar but you get punished since they leave for a good while.

They have. FE7if and I think a few other jap hacks have done it. The problem is, the process is ridiculously complicated and easy to fuck up (there's a bug with FE7IF that will cause certain instruments and especially drum samples to not even play until you restart your computer a few times and even then the bug may persist until you play the game for a while) and nobody has gone about to put the effort in to streamline it. Powered Z is better than Kaiser but it's nowhere near top tier as far as units go - that's relegated to stuff like multi-pilot supers like Dancougar or SRX.

The problem was they expected to have more to work with and were stuck when Rebuild 3.0 was a steaming pile of nothing and 4.0 is delayed. But they have to use Rebuild because it's the new EVA the people want to advertise.

At least V seems to be ignoring the plot entirely and just making up something with the Rebuild units like controllable God Mode 01.

Yes it does. The only carryover issue is that Iron Cutter carries over to the Shoulder Slicers so you have to upgrade Rocket Punch instead, but even if you get Powered Z you'll have that issue.

Just upgrade Breast Fire and spring for the MAP and you'll be fine.

That's the thing I hate the most about a lot of OG mech upgrades. They just slap shit on them to make them bigger and bulkier and otherwise throw off the balance of decent base designs. It doesn't look bad all the time, but it does make a lot of mechs look like a clusterfuck.

That's why I'm worried if they ever add Rushbird into OG and give it an upgrade they'll slap a lot of needless shit on it.

Wing is different. EW despite the new designs is a sequel to Wing Tv. They can run through the whole plot. And they have to during series to fill several games worth of content. Both F-Final Alpha and Z went from TV to EW (although Alpha 1 rushed through the plot to get to EW as soon as possible.)

With Eva though Rebuild is a straight up reboot so they can't run them together.

You gotta upgrade them all first so that R-1 has it's better attack and R-2/3 are Powered. Those are cash-only upgrades, no kills required, though. Banpreios needs 150 shared kills, though.

Anywho, tagging along with your SRX Team, you have part of Gravion, part of Sardion, Redman, Giganscudo, part of the King Beal, Vikungfu, Dragonar 3, and part of Xabungle.

Then again given the amount of effort most of the Z3 EW animations got, that might have been for the best.
