Like, I dunno. Just feels like the separate parts don't go together so great, the section at 1:06 just sort of starts out of nowhere and stops before it has a chance to go anywhere.
Then for the chorus, we start out fine, but "Rekka no kotoKU" sort of doesn't feel like it fits with "Hagane no yaiBA" at all, and the solo vocal bits feel weird, too. I just don't know, man, something feels just straight up wrong.

Having played the higher difficulties of FMW (where bosses get full use of their spirit commands as their SP permits, and they all regenerate SP), it's not nearly as brutal as you might expect. On the other hand Fury is basically the best offensive spirit in FMW it shits all over the other damage spirits including Valor. Only exceptions being Triumph and only when Alice or Suwako use it.
Also the Personal Skills you get to interchange on each character are actually insanely powerful. I actually don't think SRW has any system similar to that besides a few unique mech specific skills.

In OG Judecca (containing the original Mai in the form of Levi) was destroyed. Original Mai/Levi was destroyed. The humans picked up the core afterwards, (I think it was a copy made by Septuagint) which was regenerating the pilot. Dr Kobayashi interrupts the process partway by just opening the core and pulls out a younger Mai with no memories of Judecca. Apparently Balmarian regeneration starts from a fetus, I don't know. Eventually Mai purges the memories of Judecca and is just Mai.
In Alpha Mai is kidnapped and brainwashed into being Levi. The entire 'Mai is the older sister!' plot twist started in OG, so in Alpha it's just assumed Mai really is younger than Aya. The heroes break Euzeth's control over her and she joins the heroes as Levi. Eventually she decides she wants to be Mai now.
