Martyrs release date has been revealed. If they don't delay, it's planned to be released on Auguast the 30th. The confirmed added routes so far are Irisdina and Lise (Katia's is the canonical "true" route from the LN and anime) along with a side one for Kirke. Beatrix route is not happening (no surprise there).

In the context of her little speech she was referring to what is moraly right. Jurgen was feeling depressed after he had to sacrifice some of his men to net a victory. So in an attempt to cheer him up, Beatrix told him that he did what he had too and that their deaths weren't in vain.

I actually sort of did.Depending on the exact Doing-Things series and installment, all the characters can be original, with other series' stuff only showing up as window dressing and cameos at best (if at all), while the myriad of Doing-Things universes are basically a crazy crossover mashup of things that nobody would have thought would ever work together. Also, even if I appropriate characters, themes, and other stuff from other series, I always modify them significantly to fit into DT's wild and wacky universes, so you get the sense that this really isn't a conventional fanfic where the characters, settings, and themes are just lifted out of the source material with minimal changes. That said, Movie The 1st was absolute madness because it needed to be, in order to bring the backstory and mythos to the next stage, break out of the rut DTHW had been stuck in for years.

Lise sold herself out to save Theo no matter the personal cost, and later was willing to do whatever it takes to protect him even if she had to save him from his own impossibly suicidal plan to fight the stasi directly. And it was, what allowed the rebellion to succeed was something no one could have predicted. She is literally incapable of living only for herself, if she wasn't Axmann would have succeeded in turning her into a mini me but no matter how much he broke her down thats just not the kind of person she is. She was driven insane by circumstances you can't imagine and placed in a lose/lose situation, judging her based on what you know about the big picture as an outside observer is ludicrous.
I know you have a very simplistic view of how the world works much like your waifu but calling Lise selfish is grossly misunderstanding the point of the character and writing her off under an archetypal banner simply because its easier than excepting the fact that there is some painful nuance to it.

Anime Lise was never shown as some sort of tortured soul doing what she did for her adoptive brother, at least up until moments before her death, she was portrayed as someone so into what she did that she may as well have joined the Stasi of her own volition instead of being made into one of Axmann's fuck toys.
I think those screenshots, as well as Lise smirking like a Saturday morning cartoon villain and twirling her hair as her comrades are tortured, do a good job of displaying that.

I don't, but the anime bizarrely makes him more sympathetic then even some of the people he tortured. They dialed back how much of a sadistic fuck he is by removing baby rock or GUN. He's still bad, but he come's off as a sort of rational, self interested type of bad rather then evil as fuck like Beatrix or even Lise.
Deal with Axmann is is that his villainy is dealt with matter-of-factly. The anime does not wallow in his evil acts screaming "look at how bad he is" like many of the other characters. There is no hair twirl or "Those girls are dead *evil smirk*" for Axmann. He's hardly ever shown actually getting into murder or torture to the extent of the other stasi. Except for one line from Lise, the anime implies that the one who's mostly responsible for Lise's condition is Beatrix.
tldr; Sadistic qualities in Axmann are downplayed while hyped up in others leading to misplaced audience sympathy.

So yeah, everyone says what she's doing is pretty bad, but it's up to debate whether she herself was evil by nature/choice, and if the evil she practiced was necessary.

You can interpret the anime as the contrary to this position. Whatever her original intentions in '78, by '83 she is not only "drunk" on evil, she is a full-blown alcoholic, who happens to be in denial as well.
Seems to me to be a good compromise on the anime's take. Two years in the Stasi turned Lise into, well whatever she is supposed to be, and seven years, during two of which she still had a morality chain turned Beatrix into the sadistic killer shown in the anime.
