The silver event tickets display percentages that look better than regular silver mechanic tickets but it's a lie from trolls that like to piss you off.
The Gold event tickets are same as Gold Mechanic Tickets but can not be kept past the duration of the event. You'll get like, 1, or 2. A handful if you're a tryhard. And the game is forcing you to upgrade something if you want to take advantage these expiring tickets.
You'd think you'll just instead spend that 1 expiring gold ticket to build a gold blueprint of something you had and try to make the expiring ticket useful that way, but
You can't use these tickets to build MS, only upgrade.

The Zaku II J Type with rocket shooter is actually a god tier machine. Charge Zook to KD fools, then finish them off with a Magella cannon barrage. You start with one, so it's not even all that difficult to get.

Right now I'm bouncing between top silver and bottom gold. Whenever I'm gold I still get S/A ranks in place and score, but as long as I lose a couple matches it will demote me.
But once I go back to silver, I get top 5 every single game and go right back up.

Shoulda went zeek for the free Zaku II heavy that makes up one of the best balanced suits in the game. Anybody can do well with a good wrist in a Zaku II with a CBZ.

Melee suits. You're feddie though so just get used to the timing and the hitbox and your beam saber will feel perfectly viable after a day or two.
The heat-hawk has a little less than half the hitbox of the GM saber. People still run streaks in grunts with them. Just get used to it and time it right.

Hyaki Shiki has innate beam resistance and a load of OP weps.Just get a deck of four Desert GMs and try and develop your Newtype powers. Desert GM is the one that looks like pic related.

For low cost Feddie suits, try the Desert GM as recommended previously, using the charge bazooka + 3-burst MG.
The Early Type GM is also good for the CBR as you mentioned other suits are flying across the sky. The fast projectile makes it easier to hit them in the air and knock them down.

Never seen a Gundam show in my life until a few months ago when I decided to watch them to see what all the fuss was about.
0079 is incredibly cheap and shitty, and the plot is god awful, but the characters are fun and interesting, and I found myself invested in their lives despite the rest of the show being such shit.
Zeta was a fucking blast. Art looks gorgeous, the Characters are mostly interesting and cool (Fuck Emma and Reccoa though, their arcs are dumb), the music is great, and the plot actually managed to keep me guessing while still borrowing heavily from 0079.
I'm about 10 episodes into ZZ right now and it's a blast so far. The new characters are all fun, and i'm enjoying the break from the super-serial plot of Zeta, and the humor is pretty good for an anime targeted at kids. I will say that the reused plot points are starting to get old, and the art somehow managed to get worse from Zeta to ZZ, but other than that I like it so far.
I can't really compare the UC stuff i've seen to other Gundam shows, but as an outside observer I will say that both Zeta and ZZ (at least so far) are significantly better and of higher quality than most other anime, even for their time. 0079 can be pretty bad, but I still enjoyed it at times.
UC Gundam (at least what i've seen) has waaaay more substance and much, much better characterization than most Shounen battle anime kids shows.

Rentals are basically for testing out a unit to see if you like them, they're cheap and good for getting EXP so it's easier to upgrade the blueprints later. 4649 is just an easier way to say hello in Nip, either means you're Gaijin or Jap is too lazy to type out the greeting.

I'll be honest, if you learn katakana (phonetic alpabet for english/foreign words) you'll be fine.
Plenty of key things are just english words written in that alphabet, so you'll be able to recognize things (Quick Start, Gashacon, server) well enough to get a move on.
Also, if you have a smartphone, you can download google translate, which allows you to take pics of your screen and translate text.

I do better in my Ball and Ground GM than any actual Gundam model I've tried. Maybe it's just because I feel less "invincible" in them.
Although the missiles in the Super Gundam I rented were super fuckin satisfying.

In high cost suits, you get punished for overextending due to the high respawn time. On the other hand, I can be as gutsy as I want in my Zaku IIF because the respawn time is so low.
Of course, high cost suits usually don't have to play gutsy in order to get kills/assists/points in general. That's the trick with them. Play conservatively.
As far as the ranking system, it seems to be largely based on win/loss on the entire match. I can play very well but as long as I lost a few matches then I either won't move or down I'll go. I still can't figure it out.

I personally open my selling screen, click on my storage of Gihren busts, and spend 5 seconds admiring it, before going on to the gacha screen. Then, I trace the Zeon symbol displayed on it five times.
The best it has given me this far is a silver Gogg. I must acquire more Gihren busts to improve results.

Do you mean mass production guntank, or the 340 point real Guntank? Nevertheless, I kinda get what you mean. Guntank II is equipped with easy-to-use normal direct fire weaponry, whereas Guntank itself is strongly focused on mortars and howitzers. You will eventually notice your performance becoming superior on the Guntank over the II however, as your aim and prediction improve.
The tragedy of howitzers is, however, that they work slightly buggily. Even for JP players, they occasionally fail to detect direct hits and instead let shots slip through targets. This is further exacerbated by high ping.

center part of the map with the gravity is constant brawl and explosion spam, stronger side gets to potshot at the opposing side's base.
the no-gravity outside is basically sniper duels, or getting ambushed by numbers.
it's also hard to properly defend the outside base from sneak attacks, you can only slow it down while your side's doing the same to theirs.
enemy battleship ai attacks are ridiculously accurate.

I got a GM Command Light Armor from the normal gashacon awhile ago and just now made it. I got grenade thrower and decided to try it out.

Efreet has similar performance, since it has grenade thrower, and Gouf has solid grenades although it doesn't get grenade thrower at all, just grenade blast expansion, and the IIFS on both sides also gets grenade thrower but generally speaking, other than those, there's a big honking gap on zeon side from about 200-280 where there's no grenade thrower suits.

That's what I've noticed. The Japanese wiki lays out what suits get what passives and Zeon only gets Zaku I, Zaku IIF2, and Efreets.
It's not like the Federation gets much either. I wouldn't have been focusing on getting the GM Command Light Armor if I didn't get it at random, but I'm glad I did.
