So I don't mind recycled sprites in SRW games but is it just me or did they basically kinda made the worst choices for returning Z3 series? I would love to see Gunbuster show up again, for example and that wouldn't have needed new sprites and is even Space themed.

Yeah, SRW V's list could be better, but it's got a few I like so, I'm happy.

I do have to say that the asset reusage is kind of discouraging. And as much as I like the Zambot 3, it got a pretty great showing in SRW Z, maybe it needs to take a rest.

Fucking this. PoD always gets shafted and somehow makes a movie last even longer than full blown 40-50 something episodes series. It should begin and end quick so Ryoko can actually be useful earlier thanks to the combos she usualy gets rather late with the other girls of her squad and Akito isn't a killstealer for too long and can be used for more than 2-5 missions.

And Z looks like its going to be post-series so there's a 50/50 chance of her being dead or alive.

So, I know that ZERO is a unit-only thing so anything it does isn't indicative of it's plot...but what IS it's plot, with such a different looking Mazinger and such? Is it the source material where Shin Mazinger got to use Iron Cutter and Drill Missile? Because right out of the gate V was surprising me with stuff I hadn't seen, I didn't figure Z had that stuff in that continuity.
