Shin vs Neo is probably the easiest Getter to use, in all honesty.
Musashi's sacrifice decimates the Dinosaur Empire, forcing them underground for a few years.
Hayato starts gathering people for a new Getter project.
Dinosaur Empire shows up again, Gou gets drafted and cue a couple of fights and a newly restructured Emperor Gore which forces them to take out Shin Getter which they failed to get running during the Battle of New York (which prompted Musashi's sacrifice.)

It's a general power increase too. It's more than most oldtime SRs get, the Robot Romance four just get slight engine power ups and a few new moves.
You could bullshit new finishers for the other two forms as well. Maybe throw a damn change attack in at the end of the Fantasy arc, since they had a pretty ok number of "switch between all three forms in short succession" fights and moments (and hell, the one in the last fight is basically perfect for an ALL animation if it's a 3 per squad game).
There's a lot of interesting things you can try with New that haven't been done since SRW hasn't tapped it yet.

Cross Smasher makes the enemy look all funky before they get blown the heck up.
One thing I haven't mentioned yet about 64 is that if you play as one of the real-type protags, you meet this girl called Lera. She's a random Resistance guerilla fighter that joins your crew early in the game. She never becomes a pilot, instead just helps around on the ship. She's an annoying confrontational brat at first, but over time she bonds with the protagonist due to similar experiences and such. You get some dialogue options that allow you to convince her to get off the ship and go home, but I chose to keep her around to see what would happen.
As I took the OZ route, in the stage where you have the final battle with the Mycenae and Hyakki forces, Marquis Janus infiltrates the Argama disguised as Sally Po to plant some explosives. She gets found out and in the ensuing fight, Lera shields the protagonist from a bullet. After the stage there's this emotional scene in which she dies. Then I found out that there is a special stage that you can access if she doesn't get off the ship, but it's exclusive to the other route. Maybe that turns out better, but I won't see it this time. For shame.

Ok, so around seven years ago, Lordgenome sees Simon rising as a Spiral Warrior, and starts indiscriminately attacking human settlements (we're assuming Gen Fudou in Aquarion, the Seven, the Sky People, possibly some Bigs, the Innocent. and maybe a few of the bigger Overmen like Brunhilde were keeping him in check beforehand). I have spent the entire day getting MP3's from OGs and various other mainline games. I think my brain is halfway fried but I made good progress. 239 files down, god knows how many left. At least most of the menus are done which means things should at least test right without breaking now.
Also, needed a bit of input. Both of the roulette themes were SRW1 themes that I cannot find and even if I did would be horribly unfitting in contrast to everything else so far. What do you guys think: should we keep the midis, or replace it with something more modern? I'm leaving this one up to you guys cause I don't have a preference either way, so if you can think of any that work for it and don't sound completely chip-tune-ish, then by all means, post them and I'll throw them in there.

OK, last thing before I go pass out for a few hours. The game uses a lot of Great Battle tracks for it's menus and various other things here and there, and as far as I know, the OSTs for them haven't been ripped. There's a few full soundtrack vids on youtube with them but I'd have to chop them up myself to get what I need. Doable, but more work and they'd likely not be the best quality.
So again, posing the question to you guys. Either chop up the YT vids for SNES brand quality, use the midis that are already available, or simply replace them with something else entirely. Off the top of my head, the mission complete theme and another roulette theme are both using tracks from these games, so take that as you will, and keep in mind there might be more that I can't remember at 5 AM. I'll catch whatever responses you guys make in the morning so don't worry too much about that and have fun with that.

The Anime? No one knows - literally. It's so low-key that only the first episode has ever been subbed.
Once in a while you'll hear statements like "It doesn't combine until like episode 11" but that didn't really stop Dancougar from getting in a whole bunch of SRW games.
I'm guessing it doesn't get in because it doesn't inspire any sort of feeling whatsoever, which is probably worse than being hated - at least the latter might attract some attention in pondering how SRW might "fix it"

If you're Setsuko, you can theoretically abuse this thing called "repair grind trick" where you let Bright and Talia just MAP the shit out of your repair pilots then repair themselves (don't forget to give them the repair pilot skill for more healing).

I should add that you could also do the repair grind trick at Rand's route but the only ones who benefit it are Rand, Freeden, Glomar, and the support characters of Overman King Gainer (though remember to equip some armor with them because they'll just die in one hit). Resupply with the Xabungle cast and Miyuki from Getter Robo.
