Nah, Sentai doesn't have anything like that site. I myself used the descriptions from the Super Sentai wiki to find out about each season. I got started on the then currently airing series ToQger, then moved onto Jetman and fell in love with it. So I say try Jetman.

Just try out whatever looks interesting. I'd say Go-Busters might be a good entry series. And also give Zyuohger (the current sentai) a try. Also, if you do go on ot the sentai wiki, be warned that it has no spoiler warnings and odds are you will be spoiled. If that bothers you, maybe avoid it.It's also a notoriously shit resource.

This might be an unpopular suggestion, but I'd give Gokaiger a shot. It's a fun tribute series that introduced me to a lot of my now fave shows, and also has one of the strongest casts in all sentai. It also has some pretty damn amazing fight choreography if one of the things you like about Zyuohger is how each character has a defined fighting style, Don in particular is fantastic. As a tribute series, it spoils a few things here and there, but it's not like Decade where you literally won't understand what's going on unless you've seen the show it's referencing, it's mostly just

It is, but in my opinion it's more of a Takatera (Kuuga, first half of Hibiki) show than a Kobayashi show. You can check out Shinkenger, Go-Busters, or ToQger if you want. All of those are also written by Kobayashi.

Yeah if the Spanish is based on made up guessubs then best to avoid. As for OT, probably because it's a side project on top of the 4 currently airing shows they're translating weekly.

Multiple reasons. The main reason for TImeranger specifically is that the raws are shit and encoding them well is a hassle so it takes time. Other reasons include that O-T are subbing a lot of different shows which are mostly ongoings and they obviously take priority. They've also got personal lives to deal with.

Revolver + Calibur is like $60-100 opened and used nowadays, Revolver being around $40 used to $90 new and the Calibur being $30ish used from what I'm seeing. Having all the batteries required so many toys to purchase, I'd say around $300 would be the upper limit nowadays at most, just make sure they're not those "depleted energy" versions.
Is it worth watching Hurricanger with the Engrish HK subs? I can feel the show calling to me but don't know if it's even worth bothering, I could deal with TVN fine with the other early heisei toku I've watched but I feel HK subs are on an entirely different level.

Well, my first was Go-Busters which I finished a few months ago (though I've been meaning to watch it ever since it first aired).
Then after some questions and polls I just deiced to watch the remaining five 3-man team shows simultaneously. MIGHT drop Sun Vulcan if things get too hard to follow, since that so far seems way more MotW based than any others and I could just hop right back in without resorting to checking up summaries or glancing at past episodes. As I said before, an episode of each a day is roughly a movie's worth time, and I'd be nearly finished by the end of the month.
Thinking of doing Carranger, Megaranger, Akibaranger, and if I manage to buy it, SF's Kakuranger. Maybe a handful of Gokaiger episodes.

I own a Gaburevolver, and one thing I'd like to add is not to get hung up on the Gashapon or DX versions of the batteries. I've mentioned this before but unlike some seasons, the differences in quality between the DX and gash versions is almost totally negligible, so don't feel you have to pay more for DX to get better ones.

I don't always collect a lot from toku shows, just because the cost always gets me. However, I do like collecting the beast batteries just because they aren't too expensive and despite being tiny they're nicely built. All of them are clicky and fun to fiddle with, although getting them into the gun correctly can be tricky sometimes. That might just be a case of my hamhands though. Luckily they're reversible, so it doesn't matter if you put them in backwards or forwards, they still work. Plus, most of them have three faces and the "charged" face glows in the dark, which is a neat little detail.

I never had a problem sticking the batteries in, what I have had a problem with lately is the thing misreads batteries every so often though. Gabutyra sometimes registered as Plesuon for whatever reason, and I've occasionally had it do the rollcall battery by using any of my batteries.

A combination of the writing and the relative lack of care. Original PR stock footage transformations often feel more haphazard to me, and the US original footage in fights often stands out like a sore thumb because it doesn't at all match the choreography of the original. LIke when I caught bits of Jungle Fury before work when it was airing and the purple ranger would keep switching between using Muay Thai in Japanese footage and generic punches and kicks any time it's switch to US footage.
That said, I do keep thinking of giving RPM a go because I always hear it's the 1 good series, even from guys I know who hate PR. And iZombie only makes me more tempted to actually do it. But every time I think about it, I could just bat out another series of Sentai instead.
