Me and my friends were talking and we think Toei should go the Marvel route make darker/grittier web based series like the Netflix MCU. Namely modernizing the Showa Riders in a similar fashion. It doesn’t have to be gorey as this(because it’s Amazon) but with Kamen Rider having a loyal older fanbase, it wouldn’t be bad idea to tap more into older demographic market besides Figuarts and CSM belts, with mini series like this. Sort of. It was more the lead writer, the guy who had really interesting plans for it (Sho Aikawa) had a disagreement with Toei and bailed, so Inoue and Yonemuar had to take his place

I believe what was foreshadowed was that literally EVERYONE had an AR version of themselves, including Tsukasa, and the end of the show would tie into the movie and reveal the "Destroyer of Worlds" is the original Decade, not Tsukasa.

Yep, one of the head writers left halfway through and they rewrote a lot of shit that was supposed to be explained or incorporated better.
Also like Hibiki, it was Inoue that handled a lot of that transition.

No, Decade was successful, the writer just left after a spat.

Movie got changed during production to be a crossover and lay the foundation for future crossover films
Decade has always been a story in a loop. Aikawa did admit that the story will go for a second round with the previous worlds.
There was no plan for it to break out from the loop.
