My problem with Knight Gundam and, to a greater degree, Vassal Knight Gundam is that the animator has no nuance at all when he starts an action. There's no timing, discernible arc of motion, squash and stretch, or secondary action. It's all just "fast." The animations move in their own realm, forsaken by weight and momentum and leaving the Knight Gundam to twirl, at the same speed, in the opposite direction without encountering the opposing forces that he had already generated from the initial movement, or from the energy he had generated from this new movement. This also leads to him pausing directly in midair and even flying backwards without using any force whatsoever to even move in such a way.
The times that he does operate with some more of the basic principles are generally when his needed movement is at a minimum, like when he draws his sword to throw it in his second attack. There are problems in that sequence too, mind you (the easing and timing doesn't coincide with the force that he draws the sword with, among other things), but at least there's an acknowledgement of those factors.
But that's just me explaining my stance on it.
