They're basically a free ticket to poke fun at Sentai tropes, so having them at events like the Rider/Sentai concert, or doing little web videos now and then would be great. If Toei still had net movies, we could get a few of those with Akagi sperging out over the new seasons of Sentai since Akibaranger.

I don't think it was obvious because it seems to be something they half-assed in there at the last moment. If anything the fact the other generals didn't recognize him and that he was grandpa's student suggests he was just an ordinary human with ninja abilities masquerading as a Yokai.

Not gonna lie, I didn't see it coming, but I did think it was total bullshit when it was revealed,though I think it was more due to the entire ending arc being a fucking mess. Mangetsu was only introduced 8 episodes before the finale when he should have shown up midway through the show. They kill him off a few episodes before the end, reveal that "HAHA I, KYUUEMON, WAS REALLY KIBAONI SHINGETSU THE WHOLE TIME!" then pull out a last minute redemption with "oh, well, kyuuemon just wanted his family back and to belong to a real family."
I was super disappointed that Lion Ha-Oh/Shishio wasn't even involved in the final battle, when early on they made such a huge deal out of getting him on their side.

Sixths have only shown up early in Kyoryu and Ninnin. ZyuohTheWorld is projected to return to normal (16-18).
I will agree though that I miss build up to the mechs. I just started watching Gingaman, and the whole deal with the Fang Blades and the Silver Star Beasts was neat.

Not really. This is merely the point in time when people feel Daigo takes a lot of focus. But really it's just because he's always finishing the monster off due to having Carnival. Daigo was hogging the limelight since episode 1 and that never changes.
