Partisan's got a pretty good SB. The Breakdown effect stacks with Full Break and the individual stat Breakdowns. Freya herself is also good, although she can't use Lifesiphon so her ability to spam her SB is limited. Zidane, on the other hand, can.

Yeah, that's why I usually switched it out for the Lord British once I nabbed it. It's kind of like how anything land-locked in SRC Dungeon actually has trouble with a lot of land-based maps, because the terrain is usually so rough and you end up spawning in the middle of the water or mountain terrain, so flyers are always better.

Quite frankly the best part of the attack was more that it came about as a result of a Original Ankoku Daishogun fight with his original voice to boot. Shame I can't seem to find a video of the attack, it was pretty cool too.
It was pretty much the most hype moment in the game than kind of was downhill from that point onwards.

How do you guys usually play these games? Do you go for your favorite units or most useful units? I tend to be a really boring person, so I end up using Mazinger, Getter Robo and Amuro/Kamille in nearly every SRW game I played. Z2 was one of the rare occasions where my main was actually something else, Dai Guard to be precise.
Also, how viable are underdog runs? Thinking about doing an underdog run in Alpha for a change, now I only need to decide if it should apply to units or characters. But I guess having Sayaka or Boss pilot Mazinger still makes them weaker than Kabuto Kouji due to their skills and stats. Pure Borot and Aphrodite A without Mazinger do sound challenging though, more than you'd want (unless new game+ helps fix everything).

Challenge runs with limited choice of pilots are viable in most games. I've done girls only runs in L, 64, both GBA OGs and in Alpha Gaiden (didn't finish this one because I got tired of it, but made it to the Earth Cradle on hard mode).
I guess runs like this would be harder on older games. Actually they might be harder in newer games too because they lock units to pilots for no good reason more often now.

Always nice that my little game of "create a random SRW list" get some responses. Still willing to accept any help in getting a bigger list of moonspeak titles so that future entries can have larger potential variety.
Next time I may aim for something larger, list-wise; I try to stick around 15-18 series when I make them, but they always look so small. Maybe I'm just remembering the scale of Z2/Z3/OE and its influenced my judgement on proper series list size.
