As for the Toqger thing, I've only seen it in all upper case too, except for in one case in an art book where it was a big Q. I swear that's a western influence though.
And while I don't agree, most of the people in this thread who are arguing the counter point are being well-reasoned and polite. So it's fine to discuss it. Like I said, their reasons are actually very valid and make a lot of sense. I just don't think it's good enough reason to justify using a z when it's not a z sound. I mean, it's already confusing people into thinking it's pronounced like "zoo". I certainly hope people don't go around calling ZyuRanger "zoo-ranger".
And this kind of grey area is what makes translation interesting. That there really isn't an absolute truth to uncover, and that there's more than one way to go about it. At least talking about this will give us something to do before the show starts.

There are very few bad Sentai shows. There are plenty of mediocre ones, but never anything as irredeemably awful as something like Kamen Rider Wizard.
Good starting points would be Shinkenger as an example of a very high-quality Sentai, Goseiger as a combo platter show that cycles through all the various motifs, or just hopping on now with Zyuohger and watching it weekly with us. Go-Busters is a show that's very much worth watching, but I wouldn't watch it as your first just because it's a pretty atypical Sentai. Watch it as maybe your second or third.

Like the other anon said, it's a smaller version of the DX combining robot, but you build it yourself and doesn't come with gimmicks like lights sounds or spring loaded stuff. Which is a plus in my opinion.
They're called candy toys because if Bandai packages them with tiny, almost tasteless sweet tart, they can call it a food product and avoid charging taxes on it.
