I don't know if anyone has talked about this yet, but there are kind of heady implications behind Shinnosuke publicly being Drive.
In the world of Kamen Rider, the Kamen Riders themselves are thought of as myths or legends by most people. They're a secretive thing that only select people know of anymore. In Fourze, Tomoko makes it clear that most people think Kamen Riders are urban legends. But in Drive we not only have a person publicly come forward as the current Kamen Rider, but a genuine badge carrying officer of the police force.
Now, I know they can't really get too far into heavy things like this in a kids show, but can you imagine what kind of impact that would have on people? That's like if you woke up one morning to the news that Batman is real and was discovered while saving a puppy.
This same issue was also present in Fourze though to a lesser degree. While it wasn't exactly publicized, nearly everyone in school knew that Gentarou was Fourze, it wasn't a secret. He basically said to everyone "Yes, superheroes are not only real, but will protect you from bullies and drugs and attend your birthday party". This isn't like the Shonen Kamen Rider club from the 70's, where people could just brush it off as kids being kids, this is verifiable proof of the existence of superheroes.
If you think about it, this kind of lines up with the established timeline. In the Fourze/Wizard movie, we learn that five years later Gentarou is not only still Fourze, but that all of his students and coworkers know it. A little less than five actual years later, Shinnosuke publicly reveals the existence of Kamen Riders, solidifying people's faith in Riders as warriors of justice. Meaning that Gentarou publicly being Fourze was partially made acceptable by Shinnosuke publicly being Drive.

That honestly doesn't seem to be the case in most of the series. Off the top of my head:
- Kuuga's existence was widely known (though as mentioned above, the general public didn't know it was Godai)
- Ryuki's riders weren't known to those outside the rider battle. Actually, I don't think the people in Ryuki even knew about Kamen Riders at all.
- Blade was part of an organization and "Kamen Rider" was an actual paying job. Similarly to Ryuki, I don't think most people were aware of Kamen Riders at all, either.
- Hibiki was also part of an organization and his identity as an oni is technically supposed to be secret. I don't think the term "Kamen Rider" is ever mentioned in-series, though.
- Den-O's public doesn't seem to have any knowledge of Kamen Riders.
- W was given the name "Kamen Rider" by the people of Fuuto, and was considered something of an urban legend.
- OOO's public in general didn't seem to know about Kamen Riders. The only ones who did were probably the members of the Kougami Foundation, the Greeed, and people like Hina who were directly involved with OOO.
And of course, in crossovers, everyone's heard of Kamen Riders.

I wouldn't say "public figures" because that makes it sound like they were politicians or something. For the most part Showa Kamen Riders all start out as secret solders fighting their respective evil organizations. As the show goes on and said evil organizations up their schemes and attacks the Riders become more prominent in the public eye but still hidden. After their fighting is done they go back to being secret warriors because the Japan in show seems to forget all the monsters and alien attacks then go back to their normal lives.

How many times have you seen Showa riders fight with a crowd? Very rarely. I think Rider 1 did fight in front of a camera at a wrestling show but that could easily be waved off as a stunt.
They don't always fight in big cities either. Anyway, the point I was making was if you had a super hero fighting somewhere else in the country it would be difficult for most people to swallow even with physical evidence. Nowhere, Kansas could a metropolitan area and even with a bunch of destructive fights it would be hard (at least in the Showa era) for people to believe.

Really the big, common problem I see with nonJapanese tokusatsu shows is that the sound designers seem to have no idea what they are doing. There are no sound effects at times where it seems like there should be. They sometimes terribly dub over normal human dialogue. In this case there is an echo over the dub that sounds like a side effect of shitty studio equipment or set up of equipment. Also terrible sound mixing. Like that scene where all the shop owners are outside and they all sound huddled together in a small room because the they didn't even bother to edit the audio to make to match the secene. Then of course sounds that inappropriately over power other sounds. I can forgive dated CGI effects if they had good quality sound to keep it engaging and immersive.
Also another problem of Armor Hero I find is their music selection. I mean now they at least have a tune that sounds like a super hero action show, but I don't feel the Chinese language can provide a good enough "kick" for stuff like rock and other action-y kinds of music. That ED this season, though. Love it. Maybe they should aim for rap OPs instead. Help differentiate from Rider a little more.
The designs are as strong as ever though, I will say. They actually made an effective, form-fitting, lever-pulling belt and great looking weapons, unlike another show airing this year...
