One of the GC guys here. I just wanted to point out that the male Akimi is still Akimi, but the female Akimi is "Akemi" in OG. I was wondering how that was going to be handled. Both of their names are written in katakana now (with the western naming order), and the same goes for Touya. I wasn't sure if they'd keep the kanji or not, considering OG has a hard-on for katakana names.

SRW NOVA Stage 4. We meet up with Tessa, the group consisting of Sousuke's group, the OGs, Arclight, and Eiji and his crew, before cutting to Ru Kain meeting with Roan and Bian Zoldark for a little.
Guerrillas put Eiji through the typical anti-Gradosian racism, then attempt to kill Ru Kain themselves, getting themselves blasted when their trap puts them into a trap. Our team shows up and decides to put up some resistance against the evil alien blue-blood and his allies
Elrick and his crew show up to check in on Bian and Elrick manages to make Arclight more unhappy than he already is with his lot in life...though on the next turn, things get happier for us as Alan Igor, Duke and Maria Fleed, and Raul and Fiona show up to assist us.
After so much fighting, things don't look too good for us, as J-level reinforcements of aliens pile in. Fortunately, an assist comes in the form of Tessa!....In the Daikuu Maryu(?!)...which has Hayato and that crazy doctor from Getter Robo Armageddon aboard(?!). When the aliens try to gang on it, they get missile blasted into oblivion, amusing Ru Kain as we manage to escape.
Post-stage regrouping and discussing is had, but I can't be too bothered to try and fish what little I could understand of it, besides the Time Flow Engine possibly being Black Technology, and what seems to be Hayato admiring the OGs double-bazookas.
...This is quite the odd duck of a series so far, but I like it.

Well, I just went and beat it.
This scenario is incomplete and only one mission.
So yeah.
But just for the heck of it, here's the strategy - Walpurgis Night has a 2000 damage barrier that can only be ignored by "Magic" attacks, and the only unit with that is Madoka, but all you need to do is to deal around 2500 worth of damage to move on to the 2nd part of the stage (where the criteria is changed to just surviving for 4 turns)
WN itself has a really huge weakness - its MAP attack takes up 120 EN of its 300 EN base and unlike modern SRW bosses it doesn't have EN Regen (Large) and free attacks up the wazoo so if you lure him into using the MAP attack twice and flubbing against some of your Flash/Endure using units, it'll basically just derp for the rest of the stage and only be able to attack once every 2 turns (5 EN per round, minimum attack costs 10)

SRW NOVA Stage 5=Shaking Space Time
We open with Duminass reflecting mysteriously, as it's wont to do when not radically rewritten. Then we move to shenanigans aboard the Daikuu Maryuu, more OG-based yuri, etc. News of Mechaboosts comes in and the Cosmo Crusher team joins us in the briefing, before we switch over to more mysterious people being mysterious, possibly OGs, the only name we end up getting is a gal named Helga.
Wherever we flew to, it's where Duminass's troops are secretly hanging out, sending off Mechaboosts aplenty to deal with us. (Given that Alan seems to know about the Gaizock and Computer Doll 8, I guess NOVA's a sequel to an earlier work by the same guy, ALTERNATIVE, so whoops on me for picking the sequel to start with)
Once the Mechaboosts are taken care of, the Tiz force hides away for a moment as a new force shows up, Helga and an assortment of aliens to back her up, as she says Tally-Ho to her machine in order to get a hold of the OGs.
Send Helga packing for the usual kind of deal where the enemy knows more about the OG machine than our MC, before Duminass shows up to get her crew and give the evil eye towards Raul and Fiona and make their Time Turbines start freaking out to the point of becoming very dangerous. Luckily, whatever could happen is countered by the power of OG plot convenience power, and sets things right, though taking a lot out of the co-pilot in the process. Stymied, Duminass decides to book it, for now, and we follow the same example.
Elsewhere, shady Shura are being shady, just before our over-the-ocean travel gets interrupted by sudden giant sword. Then what follows is your typical post-recovery yuri undertones, then some briefing about the time engines, and Kaname name-drops Yoshiyuki Tomino. Maria Fleed bumps into Takeru, gets a little suspicious, and we end with more mystery persons being mysterious.
