Is that really a bad thing though? Sentai, like many of Ishinomori's works, is a constant refinement of a similar premise: hero(es) fight against evil organization and their henchmen. In a lot of ways, seeing the small changes from year to year is what I enjoy most about this series. From Goranger to Jyuohger; seeing how the show has stuck to it's roots for 40 years now, it's an amazing thing. How many other shows can boast that. The fact that I can watch any installment, even at its worst, and see that spark that made me love this genre warms my heart.

Dino Charge and Ninja Storm. After I'm done with Ninja Storm I'll be watching SPD and Lightspeed Rescue as I watch their sentai counterparts.
I don't necessarily think they're terrible shows just pretty meh to sort of bad. And Ninja Storm has some incredibly cringeworthy dialogue coupled with some horrible acting. And so far the only rangers I've grown a liking to are Cam and A

I'm sorry. You're all wrong. First off, "henshin" isn't as widely used in Sentai. It is on occasion, but that's more of a Rider thing.
For Sentai, the word you're looking for is "un-Changed." Rangers "Change." That's the term that's always been used.

So the shows people say are the best are good indicators of what PR is like? The same people I've heard say Dino Charge is one of the best and that Ninja Storm is one of the better seasons. I'll watch Time Force and RPM when I watch their respective Sentai

I kinda screwed up the wording. I was recommending Time Force and RPM because they're My favorites and they're considered the best in the franchise. PR doesn't really have an "Average" because of all the Changes it's Undergone. If you're gonna watch Lightspeed, great, that's the closest to "Average" the Franchise has (Also: Beware of Vypra's Acting)
Dino Charge is considered great because it came after Samurai and Megaforce (which are both awful)

The constant state of butthurt regarding PR and the false need of feeling superior for something as retarded as a person's choice on kids toy commercials. The PR fanbase is also shit, but at least they're obsessed with a show they like, not a show they hate.
Also, how casual the fanbase generally is. Like, most people for some reason start with Gokaiger or akibaranger (which are literally where you should not start with) and then pretend to know everything just for watching that (and often become part of the butthurt crowd). And even after watching more shows they still can't admit those two's flaws because they are so precious to them. Which is even worse when and if they accuse PRfans of being nostalgiafags for MMPR.
Also, the people who judge a children's toy commercial with the same paradigm as an adult american tv show. Though that's more of a problem with the toku fanbase in general than specifically sentai.
