Well, yeah, but the problem with any Gundam unit applying for V-Ups is "are you at least in one way better than G3/Char Custom Zaku y/n" and pretty much every unit has to say "n". GP-01Fb, for instance, is one of your better Gundam units early in Part 2 - Zeta's better, but it doesn't have the part slots and you won't unlock its finisher for a while (and even when you do holy mother of god it costs 110 EN) - but once you get back the G3, CC Zaku, Botune, and Texas Mack, it's going to just sit there going "well, shit, I lose to every one of these guys - but hey, at least I'm not the Psycho Gundam".
EZ-8 is one of the few that doesn't, but it can't run pure V-Up build because it needs an Ammo item, and if you can't FUB it then it loses because B in Space (If you can, good, S Space it)

Yeah, WRC. Unlike Alpha Gaiden, it actually does need a Newtype pilot - it's on Zeta's attack list when you get it, you'd just need to get them to that level.
It's pretty strong, too, though not enough to justify THAT level of cost (for comparison, Stoner Sunshine - one of the strongest moves in the game, and the strongest single move aside from the Dankuukougaken MAP - costs 100.).

Triple Jim is an acceptable V-Up target. Not a particularly great one, but an acceptable one.
That said, you're fielding Rom and probably Blue Jet in the lategame, and if you can find space for Glowbine he's got Soul and that automatically makes him worth it.

Aschen and Xiaomu probably belong a bit higher than that. Aschen has excellent durability and can put out surprisingly good damage thanks to almost all of her attacks having boosted crits, and Xiaomu has the hilariously broken ability to inflict status effects on bosses.
They're still not great, but I'd say they're at least on par with Kaguya.

My biggest problem with Xiaomu is that for most of the game, the only enemies worth statusing are the bonus bosses. Not to mention in most cases the only one that makes a big difference is Poison.
Aschen can probably go up but she has a bit of a harder time juggling things than Kaguya does especially Heavy Bosses. Probably no higher than the bottom of Mid.

Yeah Suzuka is admittedly very hard to use in both her comboes (easier than the first game) and also as a support.
With Xiaomu the earlier mentioned status spam locks down entire teams combined with Reiji's near infinite SP shenanigans. You can actually pair up Xiaomu with Harken for a easier time to stack your chances.
In the case of Suzuka she is a free nuke, you use her early on in those horrible boss rush fights then switch her out and fight normally. You try make setups which allow you to roll for Suzuka trance the payoff is good enough for the risk. It cripples or kills most bosses and makes fights a lot faster and easier. It also helps that I think it was Alert negates the damage from a backfire enough you can afford the roll.

SRW L anon here...how do I unlock Iczer 2? At which stage is she supposed to join automatically, or is she locked behind trashing her with Iczer 1? Is it the same with Iczer 3? On stage 18 I think; on both route splits I went the Iczer route.

She's an automatic unlock, sometime in the late 20s or early 30s. L's only unlock from the Iczer series is Atross, you get her automatically and then have to do things to keep her.
You get Iczer 3 pretty soonish, but you lose Iczer 1 for a bit when you get her.

I probably had less than a dozen aces (this was two months ago and at this point almost-everyone has 300+) because I care way too much about exp distribution. Off-hand, I remember that Setsuna, Kaidou (top ace with 134 or something), Guy, Kouji, Youta, Knight Gundam, maybe Banagher, I think Jojo, Jin, Alto, Leon, and Aisha (she was my first ace) were aced. Everyone else was anywhere from 5-25 away. Kio starts with 0 so he only managed around 56 kills. And I gave a LOT of kills to Shanalua because I wanted to save her.
