It's the Snow Crash of contemporary literature. It's just really bad. The humour is bad, the "twists" are predictable (Co-Founder dude lurking in their private server). I mean as something we're supposed to take seriously it's not any good at all, though entertainment-wise it's at least "tight" in terms of plot and tempo etc. It's essentially a non-reader's novel.

Couldn't even finish it. Very disappointing because I love dystopia novels. This is basically a stupid ender's game and does nothing original. Unoriginal thoughts coooould be forgiven if the writing wasn't so bad

now imagine this but as a book that goes on for 300+ pages that isn't particularly well written. if you like 80s references it'll jog your nostalgia if not you'll probably get bored of it fast
