What are the best resources for studying philosophy to accompany the texts themselves? Are sites like Stanford Encyclopaedia of Philosophy worth it in your opinion?

get a used copy of the cambridge dictionary of philosophy
set it right down in your bathroom bookshelf
crack that baby open to a random article whenever your arse feels a storm brewing
wipe liberally and flush
which philosophers are still worth reading? is there much sense in reading something that's out modes?
