Why do ain't and won't have apostrophes?
can't = cannot
couldn't = could not
didn't = did not
isn't = is not
wouldn't = would not
>won't = wo not
>ain't = ain not
Because contractions are bad and you shouldn't use them. It's just common sense.

Ok, so ain't?
(Also, you forgot to mention there is a word 'wont', sans apostrophe, so that would get confusing.)

Won't = Wo not

>there is a word 'wont', sans apostrophe, so that would get confusing
only if you were really stupid
there are lots of words in english with the same spelling but different meanings (heteronyms)
bass, desert, bow, etc etc etc
it's common where one is a noun and one is a verb, lead for example
pic unrelated

>one word in a language with about a million words will make a big difference
>using "fuck it up" in place of "mess up" is not an example of this

won't = will not
ain't is a perversion of isn't

Shouldn't heteronyms refer to . . . well, synonyms, actually? Homonyms are to what you refer.
Ain't iirc is a contraction of am not
>>8048117
>Ok, so ain't?
Ain't comes from 'am not', but its just a butchered version of it. It's not a real part of the english language, just something rednecks say.

no
homonyms have the same pronunciation but different meanings
bough (as in bough of a tree) and bow (as in to bend deferentially) is an example
heteronyms have the same spelling but different pronunciation and different meanings
desert (as is a load of sand) and desert (as in to abandon) is an example
synonyms are two words that have the same meaning regardless of spelling etc
