Jean Amery - On suicide - a discourse on voluntary death
is excellent, easy to read, and thorough.
Thomas Liggoti - Conspiracy against theHuman Race is a good cliff notes on negative philosophy that will give u diff authors, horror writers, philosophers who speak on topics of depression, sadness, melancholy, anti natalism, etc
Thats a good beginner book, very short, and easy to read.
Émile Cioran is a great, deep, very dense read on all that is bad with life and is probaly the best book mentioned in this subject.
A short history of decay is great as is The Temptation to Exist.
Those are the more difficult reads and the best of this bunch.
You could read them in this order, or start with ligotti or hit the meat and potatos that Emil hits on.
Or you can get all three, pound it out in 2 weeks and then get a 357 snubby to cross over.

Édouard Levé -- Suicide. I haven't read it yet but it has been recommended to me before as highly relevant (duh) and lucidly written.
