What do people think about self-publishing a novella as an E-book? I will soon have finished my 17,000-21,000 odd novella and am under the impression that publishers are not interested in novellas unless you're already published / have readers. Is self-publishing an E-book the way to go? Anyone got any tips?

probably the best choice is to release it for free on smashwords or wattpad to get some exposure. you could charge for it but then you'd better be ready to shill it and make ebook writer friends to shill their work so that they'll shill yours in return.
(unless it's brilliant and will take the world by storm but that's not going to happen.)
