i am actually super jealous of you being able to read hungarian authors in their native language

I suppose your stack is alright if you like Kerouac (whom I don't particularly care for)
Haven't read anything else there, though

I wish I had acces to cheap english books.
There are things that simply don't work when translated.Same with german books
The country is almost completely monolingual.
This month's to-read pile. My to-watch pile is more demanding so keeping my reads light.

your stack (and the fact that you're such an insecure faggot that you want to show it anonymously to anonymous people) evidences you just started reading.
you don't need to read all that to "get" the Beat movement. Should've read only "On the Road" when you were thirteen. Only good book from the movement is Jack's last, and his earliest poems, which you seem to miss. The only good thing about the Beat movement is that it redirects you to Walt Whitman, the man you should be reading right now.
Allen Ginsberg is absolute shit.
Jack Kerouac can't tell a story, although some passages are fine, and certainly gives the alcoholic-writer vibe, but one book is enough.
The same can be said of Thompson. If you want to learn psychedelics don't go to him. Read Shulgin or Escohotado.
And Burroughs is baby-tier morphogenic literature. Should be reading Finnegans Wake.
Fucking pleb.
These + MCarthy's 'The Road', which I can't seem to find.

I never cared for Kerouac or any of the beat shit. >>8005390
7.5/10

I think the signet classic's look terrible, but you've got a nice selection which is more important. 8/10
