I read Down and Out in Paris and London and I was hoping it's similar. I have Homage to Catalonia, but I'm not very interested in Spanish Civil war, so I don't read it jet.

It is very similar to Down and Out.
As for Homage, it is very worth reading just for more of Orwell's beautiful style

Too many trenches and factions for my taste but i enjoyed it.
Liked it a lot. Remember his quip from it, "I was in Yorkshire when Hitler took the Rhineland," and people were more concerned with football betting. Good lefty reading.
