It's not actually maggots, it's a woman in china that had a huge infestation of parasitic worms due to eating raw meat her whole life. That is a picture of her legs, they also found the parasites or the calcified remains of such in her skull and brain, the only symptoms she reported were occasionally feeling dizzy. She didn't even realize she had them until she went for a scan after complaining about joint pain.

Nah, but she is gonna be fucked up for life even if she gets rid of them all. The ones that make it up to her head caused some serious damage and what is left of them is too dangerous to remove. Pretty remarkable that the human brain is capable of coping with stuff like that and only getting symptoms of dizziness.
