That's OK, I never said anything she said is of value. Anyway, if you want to get into that conversation that is a completely different topic. My point is that she does represent that generation of tryhard millenials, none of them have much of value to say either, so I'd say is a pretty accurate representation. That's why I use Elliot as an example, MTW is an insane insight to the issues that modern males face(obviously taken to an extreme). Mira is the same, it actually is involuntary. What is valuable about Mira's art is not the art itself(very average and bland) but the meme that she's made out of herself. THIS FRIDAY I WOKE UP AT 2PM
Mira is writing this from a perspective she closely identifies with - the life of a transient stuck in the body of a privileged young woman. Her alcoholism is slowly gaining a stronger foothold deep in her core, she feels the world turning around her while she is standing still, and while she still dwells in the beginning of her adulthood, constantly reminded of what events brought her there, the events don't hold the same weight in the hearts and minds of those who experienced the same events. Her maturity is virtually nonexistent, and she is still uncomfortable with compassion and closeness and also has an eating disorder of some sort.
