Saw it performed in January. Totally changed my mind about it. If it seems tedious, over complicated and over the top it's cause Shakespeare ABSOLUTELY meant it to be. It's Shakespeare pastiching himself. For fuck's sake JUPITER KING OF THE GODS appears and the final scene is just the most ridiculous unravelling. It's really funny and actually enjoyable. Certainly way more interesting than the snoozefest that is All's Well
