I found nihilism to be a refuge for defeatists who use its minimalism and indifference as a defense mechanism. Overcoming it is to become accustomed to indifference without being hindered by it and to transform that indifference into a benefit, rather than an obstacle. To pursue the attainable, pragmatic and reasonable but without needing existential conviction.
