I audiobook while walking.
I walk a lot and it's easier going if you're swallowed up in a catchy plot.
Yes, I go for the plotheavy stuff for audiobooks; great prose deserves a proper reading I think.
Lots of Philip K. Dick lately. Some Iain M. Banks too.
It's a nice distraction from hurty feet and you don't waste real reading time on "pleb" books.
I used to do that until I almost got hit by a bus. Thankfully some cute girl pulled me out of the way in what was clearly supposed to be the beginning of a romantic comedy.
Ofcourse I just autistically mumbled something and walked away.

I love to go for a long walk at night with an audio book.
I don't mind listening to stuff with great prose though.
Especially stream of consciousness type stuff. I can focus on it while the rest of my body goes on autopilot.

Funny story, m8.

Fuck, great idea! I'm finally capable of getting back to H. G. Wells and Asimov thanks to you.

Audiobooks are the shit. Chores get done so fast, public transport is not a pain anymore. You just have to learn to process things as fast as you hear them, which is a lot easier than people think.
Some books do deserve to be read though because you need to chew on them a bit longer than the audiobook permits. On the other side of things, audiobooks are the only way to read [spoiler[Sanderson[/spoiler].
I always read while i walk.
I have gotten very good at avoid collisions and only reread books that i already know.
do people really find it hard to read while walking? i walk super fast everywhere like a weird autistic guy and i read normally the whole time. what's the problem?

I only read two books while walking.
I read when I walk on a treadmill or elliptical.

I was under the impression that THICK is actually praise. I find such a quality plenty attractive, anyway.

Too fat. She looks smooth in the pic but she'd have cellulite.

I walk through quiet, suburban streets. Besides my neck, reading is quite nice while on a walk.
>>7838953

>tfw been reading while walking since I was a little kid
>only been hit by a car once
