any thoughts? I've just read some pages and it seems pretentiuos at best, and, at worst, a rather poor attempt at a multiperspectival narration
I want to read, but I'm wary of being memed by the publishing industry. The mixed review from readers don't help, although I'm not sure if the book is avarage or if it's just a reaction from the hype around it

Another Big Book by a white nerd with three names. One of which, mind you, is allegedly 'Risk.' To be avoided.
I read it, and thought it was bad. Not dreadful, and it's nice to read a big book, but bad. The quality isn't high enough, and it didn't need 900 pages. I don't know how the guy got paid 2 million dollars for that. I find it hard to believe a company would pay him more than $50k, if that.
