Go with complete robot. All of i robot plus more. Its what I started with.

If you want non-fiction, his chronology of the world /science and discovery are good.
The first Foundation novel. Then, read the next four books because they're so damn good.

I always liked the early empire stories. Even though it isn't an amazing book, I just love the title Pebble in the Sky

They really aren't. They have some decent ideas, but the first book is too dialogue-heavy, and then the second book fixes that, but introduces the Mule, which just fucks up the third book, and makes it a struggle to get through.
