Also, even if you were to prove that he was an anti-Semite (which he wasn't) or that his work wasn't twisted by his sister to suit the needs of Nazism (it was), you would still have to explain why Antisemitism or anti race mixing should be accepted prima facie as immoral.

I don't think Nietzsche hated different races, he would say however that the different races 1. do exist and 2. are different and thus can be superior or inferior to each other.
The christian influence that leads to the type of thinking that has a problem with this he takes a stand against.
Also he was against the mixing of races and classes, but only in that he correctly identified it brings about many ills in the world. However he does believe that the democracy and selflesness and general weird mix of moralities that occurs from this will bring about something unheard of and perhaps grand, the metaphor of the taut bow and the statement 'pregnancy as illness is still illness'.
Anyhow, Nietzsche is an immoralist why do we care to label him as racist or not? The nazi's are a great example of resentment, they have a lot to praise but fail very miserably in their world view, still under the spell of christianity and suffering from bad consciousness and what not.
In my opinion Nietzsche's views stand above these in that they don't subscribe to the essences and certain types of metaphysical thinking that leads to what zizek refers to as antisemitism proper 'they're all bad in this way and they're bad because they're a jew - what is a jew, well i can't say'.

No, he admired Socrates for being a figure that came and overturned an existing mode of living. Nietzsche swings big against the winners of the past. He overstates his criticisms of people like Socrates because Socrates looms so large over us he wants he really needs to shake us to free us from the influence so we can consider it properly. He goes into this tendency in his writing a lot in Ecce Homo.
