I'm just disappointed that they'll inevitably avoid showing Eva-01 and Mechagodzilla versus Ultraman and Leopardon at the end.
RPO should not be difficult to adapt to the big screen, and in fact will probably make for a better film than it did a book.

The movie rights were sold before the book was even published. The author was a screenplay writer before. It literally reads like a movie.
