Oh wow the formatting when it went over must have fucked up.

See if you can find pic related, and take a pic of the last two pages before Part V starts. Idk if this is even formatted like this in the book.

>>7607227

I mean it's "Naked Lunch" in the style of "House of Leaves". You get some of it, the rest you just read, not process and move on. The fact that there is some form of coherency is stunning at times.

I still wonder who all wrote it and am amazed that no one went into the Google doc and just shitposted or deleted the whole thing.
>>
>>7607444
I own the book. I got it after it just came out, first edition. the whole thing is one large shitpost

Next time, it should be edited down massively. the book is great, but there's too much superfluous memeing going on. It reads somewhere inbetween those books that are published posthumously that were not cut down into what the author meant to be the final version and one giant shit meme banepost tier garbage.

I expected a turd of a book, but next time we should consider a more finely polished turd

8/10 worth the money. certainly on tier with TLOTIAT. I keep it on my desk next to IJ as a counterbalance.
>>
>>7607506
>TLOTIAT

What's that.
>>
>>7607513
/lit/'s first book. The Legacy of a Totalitarianism in a Tundra.

also a fun read. not as shitpost like, but still very shitpost. formatting is much more like a regular book, and certainly more coherent. similar in objective and content, but oddly it ended as a very different book

TIAT has been completely shadowed Hypersphere, I wouldn't blame the guy for not knowing the first book in the Shiterary cannon.

Maybe someday soon, a new book will be released, but as a part of the nature of /lit/ it'll take a while. people here read a lot and even as a group effort it takes a massive amount out of you

Yeah...
1. Bottleman explicitly doesn't want me to publish that version.
2. What a lot of people don't understand is that you can't just publish a google doc. Editing something in Google docs is super easy, getting a print ready .pdf file is the difficult part (image linking, fonts, OS specific shit1).

I'll go through it when I get my physical fourth edition, and update my .odt accordingly.

I wrote some shit for a 'story one sentence at a time' thread. It thread was back in late summer, and someone must've capped it, because it was included almost entirely in one of the earlier iterations of hypersphere. I didn't keep up with the project, but I'm curios to know if my writings survived. I contributed a few odd lines about Slavoj 'slave boy' Zizek engaging in some pretty risque stuff. My style was pretty distinctive, and I coined phrases like 'communist ambulocetus'. So, did any of that make it into the final?

I like this way of plugging your book. Make it look like an ordinary post by some random /lit/ter. But you did the right thing. Now people know what to expect. I was curious what it could be about and now i get a feel of its ambience. Cool.
It's a but like the "go back to reddit" marketing slogan. It's a nice way to let people know that they are special if they stay on 4chan but become a normie if they go to reddit. I think it's called differentiation in marketing.
