The book is done, now we're waiting for copy editing to finish.

In the meantime, artfag here could use some help. Need a few things for the back cover:

>Book blurb/summary
For a novel (brief, enticing introduction to the plot) and/or for a short story collection (description of the author's skills and credentials, touches on overarching themes and specific scenes).

>About the author
self-explanatory

PARTS 1-5:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TIdoWxLOs7tVlO8MHISFAm1stJ7FEta-fL0dBe88J1g/edit?pli=1

Come on, let's finish this odyssey already.
>>
>new things for back cover
How about you get a new front cover, that shit is fucking hideous.

There were a bunch of suggested blurbs in the last thread.
Why not use those?

Now what, Bottle-chan?
Which company are we gracing with the opportunity to publish this century's most important work of fiction?
>>
>>7455298
I'unno. I don't want to intervene and publish it myself to Lulu, as that might give rise to suspicion that I'm profiting from the book. Then again, some members of Anonymous suggested Cow Eye Press, of which I know nothing. Then the ambitious, who - jokingly - went Vintage or Penguin.
>>
>>7455318
>not submitting a copy to Penguin and Vintage

I say do it through Lulu.
Does whoever submits it actually make money or does it all go to Lulu?
>>
>>7455323
I admit to never having published shit, so I wouldn't know. What I understand is that some fraction from Totalitarian went to an autism charity, so there's money to be made (assuming people are ready to buy it.)

I was playing with the idea that Trump might be crazy enough to promote the book himself, send him a friendly notification via Twitter that the Internet has made a novel about him, immortalized him as a crusader and all that jazz, maybe send it to SJWs, Zizek and donate some copies to mental asylums or some crap.

Again, just entertaining the idea, hot shit.

Bottleman here, I was thinking we could publish the book under "Bottleman" instead of anonymous to differentiate ourselves from the rest of 4chan.

The thing about publishing the book under "Anonymous ", alongside the fact that it would be easier than naming it after only one person or getting the names of every fucking person who helped in this thing, is that in a sense, it is a book written by 4chan, albeit only being produced on one of the boards, and might even help explain to people why it looks like a literal conglomerate of dank memes and casual racism.

Nigga I ain't mad.
A little confused, but not mad.

I want to know why it took you this long to come and get mad at something that does not affect you in any way. You postulate that we are shit, and yet complain that we could have written "a collection of short stories" "Good ones picked by the community."

If we are as bad as you say we are, how can we possibly write anything good?
And if we do possess the potential to write "good" things, what harm is there in writing the occasional bad thing for amusement?
Are you under the impression that a majority of /lit/fags worked on this instead of producing "good short stories?" If that's the case, then there had been a miscommunication because this was not an effort in which the majority /lit/ took part. It was a very small minority of shitposters and faglords such as myself who decided to have a little fun.

Hypersphere does not preclude the existence of a collection of short stories. It never did. I don't know why you think it would.

I also fail to see why you are so concerned with what other people spend their time doing, when you could just as easily send your time doing the very thing you want them to do.

So no, I am not mad. Confused.

Also, maybe pre-read before you start recording or go back and rerecord parts
for the most part you're doing a great job but sometimes you're completely butchering words like 'Lynchianism' and 'Essayist'
>>
>>7475857
Yeah I'll see to that.
I noticed the latter in which I put a J in there for some reason.

The 3rd most recent recording I was drunk in so I'm not surprised there but I'll reread a couple times through prior to recording it and if I mess up, with as short as these videos are, I'll just hit the reset button.

The fact that you didn't know french made it even funnier. I listened to it about four times, it completely cracks me up. It really does sound like you're reading this mystical old language when it's just french.
>>
>>7475866
Ha, thanks man.
At this rate it will take me a little over a year but we'll see.
Maybe when I'm done I'll read another meme book like IJ or GR.
We'll see, thats a bit far out lol.
>>7475868
That was my hope, that it would be at least amusing.
Heh
>>
>>7474037
Dude! What the fuck?
>>
>>7475833
You see, I considered dividing it into five parts such that I could download the .pdf. I browsed Part II and noticed its format is completely (and I mean, utterly) disastrous. Then I realized the book's dimensions would put the whole book into shame, so I'm at a loss whether to change the doc (It's the genuine copy) or resolve with something else, maybe? There are tons of quirks in the doc that won't translate well in any other medium I know of.

I thought of publishing the doc to the internet, but discarded the idea immediately. It's a cul de sac from here.

Alright sounds good to me mate.
Given how short of a passage is before it I'll probably play your video/recording in the background of mine upon reaching that part. (with credits in description of course).
Or if you upload it to youtube I might just add it in as a separate video of what it is "properly" supposed to be and for my own video just use google translate for that part and read that.
Because let's be honest, whats funnier then broken English?
lol.

Wouldn't it have been more subversive to write a true critique on the bankrupt nature of the western intellectual?

I guess the tongue in cheek, subserviently lapping at the dick forced into your mouth prevents any actual speech, rendering your voice is just a gargle of cum.

Anonymous group think is not anonymous or thought at all. So all you are left is with is group, and groups are led and told how to be.

You're not a special flower, despite your clinging ever present virginity. You're just as low and vile as those you mock. They may click like, thumbs up, share empty pictures overlayed by empty thoughts; but you in jealous agony betray yourselves, pretending to be outside and taboo when that system long accepted and incorporated everything you say and do.

What cheap sophism. Without a visible leader, the input of any member of the group appears just as valid (on its own strengths) as any others. The point of anonymous is that everyone is leading everyone else, or ignoring them, so the degree they choose. We are all equally worthless.

Okay, so just to be clear? Bottleman is a fake? No one is editing?

Okay, dummies. Since we haven't hear a word from someone saying they're editing this I am TAKING COMMAND.

HERE ARE MY FASCIST RULES:

IT WILL BE IN TRADE SIZE (A5)

MARGINS AT 0.8 INCHES

I WILL MAKE TEXT SMALLER IF IT DOES NOT FIT.

I WILL KEEP FUCKED UP COLORS EVEN IN BLACK AND WHITE.

I WILL PUBLISH IT TO LULU WITHIN THE WEEK.

I WILL FINISH EDITING IN THE 12 HOURS.

I MIGHT REMOVE CHATTY BANTER INSIDE OF THE TEXT UNLESS IT IS FUNNY

I WON'T REMOVE ENTIRE PIECES.

SPEAK NOW: QUICKLY OR FOREVER HOLD YOUR PEACE.

Hello tripeditor.
The objective in my mind was to publish the book to Google, then download a pdf and share off Scribd. Once word got out that people wanted lulu, Cow Eye and Penguin I hesitated, polished what remained of the paragraphs and, once I realized my corrections break off too many times in .pdf succumbed. Mistakes with the grammar, typography and punc have been treated, for most of the part. I'm sure you'll do better.
