Lyra Edwards
>>7447183
Lyra is good. Didn't I hear that in the golden compass? Doesnt matter though. Ditch the Edwards... it's boring. Lyra better have a strong follow up
>>7447196
Lyra Kaminari is also one I use.
>>7446672

kek
>>7447109
>missing several jokes
>>7447203
acceptable, even though it sounds vaguely Indian. if you write anything other than poems or novels then I wouldn't bother with a Lyra Kaminari. she sounds like she'd write good poems.
>>7447213
>5/10 Richard K. sounds too close to Phillip K Dick.
I know and I hate him for it. Richard is my middle name and I like G.K. Chesterton.
>>7447220
It's one of the thunderwords, (entirely) coincidentally.
>>7447226
What's the K stand for? In your case I would simplify, there seems to be a tradition of "two initials - surname" but I think this tradition is dated. Relatedly, I think the "name - initial - surname" business is getting tired and flooding the bookstores with pretentious, long-winded authors
Angus B. Salisbury
>>7447259
everyone knows the B stand for Brahmin, your not foolin anyone
>>7447234
>I'm here from /pol/ tell me about Julius Evola
Oh man, I totally did that.
>>7447246
The K is just there because I liked GK Chesterton
>>7447257
Finnegans Wake has a big word as onomatopoeia for thunder made up of smaller words for thunder in foreign languages. Kaminari is one of them (Japanese). I tried other words for lightning but that sounded best. It means both thunder and lightning in Japanese iirc.

>>7447284
It doesn't have the charm of a Humbert Humbert. I think Adrian may be too common a name for this. I mean, since you're gonna repeat the name, it's gotta be charming, because otherwise hearing it twice will just make a reader groan.

What did you guys think of to get to your pen name ?
>>7448397
My real name isn't very charismatic, plus,I word-associate and when I hear my own name, I always think of how embarrassing, weak and pathetic I have been throughout life. I don't want my work to be associated with this person.
