Hey /lit/,
I'm trying to read about the roman empire but I can't get through stuff like Suetionius, English isn't my first language and it's too fancy to understand anything and I quickly lose my interest, nothing sticks.
Any books you recommend or any tips on how to read more properly?

Thanks, they have it in my native language too I've just noticed.
Should you ever read translations?
what is your native language?

No reason not to, unless you want to immerse yourself in another language.

Suetonius and Quintus Curtius Rufus are basically the TMZ of the Roman world....

And there's no translation in my language for either and the english translation is too hard for me to understand.
