Dostoevsky's "Notes from Underground".

By Dostoyevsky or Saramago?
>>
>>7429306
you seem pretty cool
>>
>>7429296
how's your height related to being a loser?
I know plenty 6'0+ betas and -5'9 cool guys
I don't know if this is a Europe/Murrica thing, where height is closely related to your social status
>>
>>7429296

Don't worry, you won't always be 5'9". When you get older, you'll lose a couple inches.
>>
>>7429371
If you're under 6" in Europe, you're considered a beta.
>>
>>7429349
Dostoyevsky, I would guess.

Though I'm not sure if I would categorize Golyadkin as pathetic, exactly. He's more just plain fucking crazy.

I'll make it work that way. I'll tell her that homosexuality is just a meme and that to find her true self she needs to think of her natural form first

not in southern europe, since the average height in italy is 5'9"

How you represent 'how sexual orientation works' is socially constructed. He just plans on moving to a post-oriented society.

In England if you're above 5"9' you're a 'lanky batty boy cunt'. I've seen a guy get the shit beaten out of him for being 'too tall', he got left naked, covered in spit and acid, in a bin for the paramedics to find him dead.

The Information by Martin Amis. It's funny too.

At one point in the novel, the main character (an obscure, poor author) tries to sink his more successful colleague's career by telling everyone on an awards panel that he's a racist and sexist. Turns out the awards panel found the book to be simplistic and overly didactic. but when they learned the writer had racial or gender issues himself, they rewarded his "struggle" with the prize. Pretty damned funny.

r9k. Confederacy of Dunces, as far as I know, deals with a massive loser. I didn't get very far in it - some 50 pages or so before I had to return it to the library. It's pretty funny too. It had me alternating between amusement and visceral disgust.

>>7429301

I'm not so sure. Seems to me they're equally petty. Difference is, Golyadkin at least has an excuse, namely that he is going insane.

wouldn't an omega not care about that by definition? though I assume you have to be at least 6ft to be omega.
