no but really, go read Count of Monte Cristo. if you like it, then literature is for you, if not, something more modern like Vonnegut, Heinlein maybe, Douglas Adams, those are all good for recreational reading, nothing too difficult, above mediocre entertainment, but fairly below conventional literature.
