Post books that are fun/funny.
>inb4 define fun
I'm not in the mood today, just finished an essay for Uni and want to curl up in bed with a Paige Turnah.
Anything by Christopher Moore.
Fool and Lamb are particularly good.

Cheers.

Have fun. Both made me laugh out loud.
Do people here like Wodehouse?
>>7391431
Love a spot of Wodehouse, what?
>>7391431
worth reading, if a little dated. As far as lit taste goes Three Men in a Boat (Not to Mention the Dog) by Jerome K Jerome is pretty clever. Similar humor to Wodhouse but a bit less formulaic. Old dad-ish shit by any account, but I like it. As far as truly funny and unique, I'd go with The Futurological Congress by Stanislaw Lem. Richard Brautigan is occasionally funny, but more often than not in a cringey sorta way.

Social Science - Fran Lebowitz

Jerome K Jerome is a crazy name
Initials numerically are 10 11 10, magic associations all over the place. The name is almost a reflection of itself

yeah its an odd name, probly a pen name but I've never checked. there was a series of unfortunate events thread like yesterday and it reminded me of that Montgomery Montgomery character or whatever it was.
Not sure these will get a lot of love from the /lit/ crowd, but the funniest books I can remember reading are:
Frankie Boyle's autobiography: My Shit Life So Far
I Partridge - Alan Partridge Autobiography

Running with Scissors by Augusten Burroughs

Brothers Karamazov is largely fucking hilarious
>mfw literally any chapter with Dmitri
>>7393233
i liked the part with ivan in jail
Don Quixote might be the funniest thing I ever read.
Here is Paige Turnah
>>7393233
Going trough it right now.
He's like a Russian caricature.
>>7393237
Yeah Ivan can be pretty funny too because he's such a total undergrad, but he's not laugh out loud funny like Dmitri.
>>7393261
I think he's kind of a Quixotic character personally. But all I really know is that I had to put down the book several times due to laughing fits whenever he showed up.

'Lanark' is GOAT, but not exactly funny.Thaw's story hit too close to home
Anything by Pratchett, but especially this one for the holidays
'Marijuana Smuggling for Fun & Profit'
If you like aviation, narcotics and comedic autobiographies.
It may seem cheesy but it was pretty damn tastefully done.
Read "The Importance of Being Earnest"
