I disagree. I don't want special treatment, I want to be treated like a normal person. And I don't get the drama over killing FICTIONAL lgbt characters. They aren't killing them because they're gay, they're killing them for the purpose of the story. By assuming that it's because they're gay, you're kind of make it seem like the only thing that's important about that character is their sexuality.
