Does smoking diminish the amount of estrogen i have in my body or does it make the estrogen im putting in to me less effective? If i still want to smoke like a few cigs a day can i just take more e to offset the smoking or will that not work?

I think that the whole smoking& low testosterone only applies for cannabis.
I would be more worried about the effect smoking has on your overall health when combing with HRT. Research DVT, you might want to quit.
nicotine binds with estrogen receptors, but doesn't activate them. so it makes the est less effective.
it also causes your test to increase. all in all its quite shit.
i doubt i could convince you to quit, but once you do, think twice before starting again

.........actually now that i think of it...
>blocks estrogen receptors
>boosts testosterone
>gives you a low scratchy smokers voice
this sounds like a godsend for FTMs

Alcohol also lowers testerone.
So to all you kiddos are there who still have a chance, drink up
So if I am reading this right, you saying cigs and HRT = bad.
Alcohol and HRT = OK!
Weed and HRT = ok?
This was what I always thought anyway.

>Weed and HRT = ok
please be
What about stoners who use a small amount of tobacco with it? I would smoke the equivalent of about half a cigarette a day.

I don't think it does or I wouldn't need HRT by now lol I do enjoy a toke.

weed acts as a mild gnrh in massive doses (like 8+ bowls a day).
meaning if you're pre-hrt trans girl, yay it'll shut off your test production.
but once you start hrt and spiro's there, you dont really need weed anymore.
so its good pre-hrt, useless post-hrt.

This makes sense to me, as discovering weed was followed a couple years later by starting transition.

plus alcohol is a little more complicated.
if you used rarely, it has masculinizing effects. if used chronically, it becomes feminizing.
i dont remember how it exerts these effects, but there you go.
actually while i'm here...
shrooms/lsd: just fine,no interactions or effects on hormones. interestingly, i've heard a lot of trans girls say that taking either of those will give them self-acceptance and lessen dysphoria for a month or two.
dmt: no interactions or effects. may discover your spirit animal.
amphetamines: no interactions or effects
mdma: no hormonal effects, but dehydrating. so is spiro. you will be thirsty.
cocaine: doesn't effect hormones.
opiates: metabolized by cyp450, same as your hormones. so it'll interfere. hope you're a chipper..
