Okay So I'm 22 and dating someone who is 18. We had dated for two and a half months and everything was perfect!
Then suddenly, my bf started getting distant. This was last Saturday. We kept up contact until Wednesday but it was sparse and distant.
Now communication has broken down completely. We don't keep contact anymore.
Everything was going great and then suddenly something changed. I admit, I may have been too clingy and needy, and perhaps had overwhelmed him.

Well at 2.5 months in simply cutting contact would be a dick move, but I could see it happening.
I've dated lots of guys that simply stopped communicating and I just didn't give a shit and moved on haha
Gays tend to be kind of flaky from my experiences and they don't really do formal breakups or anything, they just stop contacting you. I've done similar to some guys as well so I guess I can't bitch too much, though I've never done that at the 2 month mark.
If they don't want to talk it's not worth your time, don't even bother attempting contact. If they actually want to continue dating he'll make an effort to reach out to you. I'd recommend just looking for someone else in the meantime.
